Upflow, wired into your revenue engine
Upflow is an accounts receivable platform: follow-up sequences, a payment portal, a live view of what is owed and overdue. Collection is where revenue finally becomes cash, and it deserves the same engineering as the funnel above it. Buildrhaus gives it that.
Where it sits
Upflow covers the Collections & dunning stage of the lead-to-care cycle, alongside Stripe. It sits downstream of invoicing, whether invoices come from Stripe or from Pennylane, and turns the awkward part of the relationship into a process: who gets reminded, in what tone, on what schedule, and when a human takes over. The mistake we see most often is treating receivables as a finance-only topic, disconnected from the CRM where the relationship actually lives.
What Buildrhaus builds with Upflow
- Dunning fed by CRM contextReminder sequences that know the account, the deal and the relationship history from Attio, instead of firing the same blind email at a strategic client and a one-off buyer.
- Escalation to the right ownerWhen automated reminders stall, a task lands on the account owner in the CRM, with the full payment history attached. No invoice ages in silence.
- AR status on the accountOutstanding, overdue and settled are readable on the Attio record. Pipeline and cash stop living in two unrelated spreadsheets.
- A closed reconciliation loopPayments are recorded against invoices and reflected in the CRM and reporting, closing the loop that started with the quote.
How we wire it
Upflow connects to invoicing and payment sources, Stripe among them, and exposes an API for invoices, customers and their statuses. Our pattern: invoice and payment events flow into Upflow from the billing rail, n8n workflows enrich the dunning logic with CRM context, and AR statuses flow back to Attio where revenue is actually managed. Each write to the CRM passes a check before it lands; nothing is blindly synced.
Collections is the last mile of Revenue Engine Build, the offer that runs from quote/CPQ through invoicing to collections. If receivables are your single bottleneck, a one-week Signal Sprint can wire this stage alone.
