Acquisition & signals

Clay in your revenue engine

Clay is an enrichment platform built around a spreadsheet-style workspace. It chains dozens of data providers into waterfalls, so one row, a person or a company, collects emails, firmographics, technographics and buying signals from whichever source answers best. Teams use it to build, enrich and qualify lists before anything reaches the CRM.

In the lead-to-care cycle, Clay sits at the very top: acquisition and signals. It is where raw names become qualified accounts. It is also where things quietly break: a powerful table that never lands cleanly in the CRM produces duplicates, stale fields and lists nobody trusts. That junction between Clay and your CRM is exactly what we build.

What Buildrhaus builds with Clay

  • Clean writes into Attio. We wire Clay tables into Attio so every enriched account lands on the right record, matched and deduplicated before the write, never as a fresh twin.
  • Waterfalls with guardrails. Enrichment flows that fill the fields your sales motion actually uses, with a check before any sourced value overwrites what a human typed.
  • Signal routing. When Clay surfaces a trigger such as hiring, fundraising or a technology change, an automation updates the record and notifies the owner with context.
  • Enrichment reporting. Coverage and source mix made visible from the CRM, so you know which providers earn their keep instead of guessing.

How it connects

HTTP API

Clay calls Attio's API straight from a table column, and finished rows push out the moment enrichment completes.

Webhooks + n8n

When matching rules and conditional writes get serious, the logic runs in an n8n layer you own, sitting between Clay and the CRM.

Batch syncs

CSV exports and scheduled syncs cover one-off migrations and backfills when real time is not needed.
